Delicious food, good portions, great atmosphere. My only complaint is they're not open for more hours (reservation recommended for big tables)! If it has "pepper" in the name, it will be hot!

They were so cool about us walking in 15 min before close. We grabbed food to go and it was amazing! Best fries I've ever had.

The food was better than I expected. I kind of caught a hipster vibe and thought this was going to be another social episode of gentrification kitchen, but I was wrong. The prices were reasonable and they had good portions. The staff was friendly, informative, and tended to our needs frequently. The venue is on the smaller side but is nice. The food was very delicious and I loved their curried dishes, I could eat my own body weight in "doubles". There was an ethnic fusion type selection. I am excited to go back and try their new special menu items. DOOO ITTTTT!!!

We ate at Callaloo last night for the first time. We eat out often around Lancaster and just kept missing this place. We were blown away by the food. The dishes are so beautiful, and delicious. Flavors you’ve never had before. The prices are closer to casual dining. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The service was knowledgeable, friendly, perfectly timed. We can’t wait to go back and hope more folks try it out.

It was a great dining experience. They have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free options so everyone can eat their delicious and flavorful food.
The staff and atmosphere are fantastic. We got there just as they open for the day and although the place packed up nicely, the environment was still cool and wasn't a really loud or crazy.
Good vibes and good food at this restaurant!

Callaloo has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the Lancaster area. When I went I got coconut jerk chicken and a bitter mocktail which were both genuinely incredible. The chicken really stole the show as it was spiced perfectly to my medium spice tolerance, with a strong undertone of the coconut that combated the spice. The chicken itself was moist and fell apart in my mouth, it must've been cooked for a very long time. The mocktail was nothing exceptional it was, as the name suggests, bitter and paired relatively well with the chicken but if I go back it probably wouldn't be worth the price. Overall if you are in the area I would highly recommend eating at Callaloo. @f&m

I am blown away by this place!!!!! The service is 100/10, super helpful explanations of the dishes and the chef came out into the dining room to bring plates to tables and would stop and ask how the food was. Kind of felt like I was dining at a friend’s.
And the food is UNREAL. I need to try everything on the dang menu based on how the pork croquettes and coconut jerk chicken were. The kind of food you’re sad to finish eating. Delicious and balanced and flavorful.

I enjoyed my visit to Callaloo. Let me get two things I didn’t like out of the way first. 1) The dining room is relatively small and “intimate”, so you can’t help but hear the adjacent tables’ conversation. 2) I parked two blocks away, off street parking only.
That aside, the food is worth it! I ordered the Doubles for an appetizer, 100-hour goat for my main dish and had a glass of their pineapple ginger and turmeric juice. All was delicious and will be back to try other dishes.
